Terms and Conditions

Rooms available online are payable via credit card or debit card at the time of the booking. Please check the details of the booking carefully before submitting the booking.

Bookings need to be cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the day of arrival in order for late cancellation charge not to apply.

The above does not apply to group bookings and specific booking periods throughout the year where there will be separate arrangements.

  1. Reservations:
    All reservations are subject to availability.
  2. Payment
    All payments are made at the time of booking. All major credit cards and debit cards accepted. Payment by cheque needs to be made at least five working days before the arrival date.
  3. Room Prices
    Room prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT. Meals and Breakfasts are not included in the room price.
  4. Cancellations
    If you cancel a room after 48 hours before the arrival date, you will be charged for one night accommodation per room booked.
    This does not apply to group bookings and bookings of specific days of the year where a separate cancellation policy applies according to the booking. You will be notified of the cancellation policy by email or at the time of making the booking.
    If you decide to shorten your stay with us you must inform us by 11am on that day, otherwise you will be charged the cost of one night accommodation per room booked.
  5. Particular requirements
    Family rooms offer accommodation for two adults and up to two children aged 12 and under (and a child under 2 years in a cot).
    Travel Plaza can provide cots at no extra charge subject to availability.
    Please be advised that twin rooms may consist of a double bed and a sofa/pull out bed.
    Travel Plaza hotel and restaurant operate a no-smoking policy. If guests smoke anywhere in the hotel there will be a minimum extra charge incurred of a night stay for additional cleaning costs.
    Travel Plaza has a disabled room. Alternatively, if you have difficulty walking but do not require a specially adapted room, you may request a room on the ground floor near reception for easier access.
    Although Travel Plaza will make every possible effort to accommodate your personal requirements, all rooms are subject to availability. We apologise in advance if your particular request cannot be met.
  6. Breakfast
    Breakfast is served in the restaurant between 7am and 9am on weekdays and between 8am and 10 am on weekends and on Bank holidays.
  7. Restaurant
    Meals are available at the restaurant situated next to the hotel. The restaurant includes a licensed bar. The restaurant specialises in Nepalese and Indian cuisine.
  8. Arrival and Departure
    Rooms are available for check-in from 1 pm on the arrival date.
    Check-out is by 11am on the day of departure. Failure to leave your room by this time will result in additional charge up to and including the cost of one night additional stay.
    If you require early check- in or late check-out please let the Reservations know as early as possible and they will be happy to help.
  9. Directions
    If you require more detailed directions to Travel Plaza please call the Travel Plaza directly and the receptionist will be happy to help.
  10. Important Notes
    We regret that, with the exception of assistant dogs, no pets are allowed.
    Electrical appliances, such as toaster and mini cookers are not to be used in the rooms of Travel Plaza Hotel as they may set off the sensitive fire alarm system.
    Travel Plaza asks its guests when checking-out to leave their room in reasonably acceptable conditions. Every damage of the room fittings and fixture by food, drink or other devices will be charged extra of a minimum one night stay.
    Except Room Service No other food from outside is permitted to the rooms.
