The hotel was in the perfect location for the two day Antique Fair at Naseby where we were standing. The hotel was Comfortable ,clean and welcoming.The facilities were excellent and the refrigerator and cooling fan were most welcome. We spent a very comfortable 2 weeks in the Travel Plaza Desborough in order to visit the area and Market Harborough, my hometown, and were very pleased with the standard of the room always kept clean and tidy every day by a friendly housemaid.The room was spacious and comfortale and the tea and coffee facilities were replaced every day. A small fridge was also very useful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The adjoining restaurant also served Italian style meals at reasonable prices so we could also recommend this place too.

My son and I needed a bed for one night on our journey to an event the next day and this hotel was extremely good value and had all that was needed.We arrived to a very friendly welcome from Prem at reception and our room was completely adequate. It was clean and perfectly well maintained. The large bed was very comfortable but possibly the only complaint was that the smaller bed was very hard.We were told we had to be out by 11am so perhaps we shouldn't have been surprised, but we were, that the next morning the cleaner was very keen to be in the room even a little before that time!Anyway the receptionist dealt with us needing a few extra minutes in a very pleasant way. She was friendly and most hospitable as we left.

Some hotels can surprise you. This was one of them. The room was very clean and a decent size with a fridge, tea/coffee/kettle, TV, a modern sleek black wall heater so we could keep the room at whatever temperature suited us, a hairdryer and a wall mounted fan for hot weather. The staff were helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble. If we needed clean towels or the bin emptied we only had to ask. We have stayed in the travel lodge and Premier Inn but the the facilities in the plaza were better than both. Yes the front door needs a lick of paint, but don't be put off by that. The only thing I would say is that as it's right on the road, if you don't like noise ask for a room at the back.

Despite being close to the main road, it was quiet and there were birds chirping in the morning. I was happy I didn't book a larger hotel, this one had quite an intimate feel. Practicality 4/5, large comfy room with large double bed and sofa.Small fridge, kettle. Small supply tea, coffee and sugar, inevitable longlife milk. No lift to upstairs rooms so ask if you need help with bags. Clean sheets and warm.Luxury 3/5 being generous. Room decor a bit tired, sofa bed looks functional and bathroom may benefit from an update. Overall though great for a quick overnight stay, not far from A14, slightly off M1 but still reasonable if you'd rather not stay near the motorway. Very little facilities nearby that we could see on our brief stop. Hotel does offer drink and snacks and there is a restaurant on site.

The hotel is 5 minutes drive from the bustling town of Market Harborough. I chose to stay here due to the price of the rooms and I am glad I did. The place was spotless; comfortable bed. The receptionists gave very clear instructions and were very helpful. There was only one set of towels for the my wife and I, but we're sure they would have given us a second one if we had asked. The water pressure in the shower was low, but did the job. Free wifi and parking. Excellent value for money.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel, the beds were comfortable and the rooms quite large.The evening meal choice was good, offering a choice of very high quality but simple English and Indian food. Breakfast was also good offering a range of English breakfast items, cereals, toast and Continental breakfast items all be it slightly limited.Certainly will use again should I need to stay in the area again.

As a budget stay we were very impressed with the cleanliness of an old ex- travel lodge building. The location is great for visiting our family and places of interest in and around Leicester. The breakfast choice of full English or continental was totally fine my husband was unsure about the sausage but enjoyed the rest of his breakfast. At £67 for a double compared to the £94 of the city Premier it suited us for our one night stop over. We did not use the Gurkha restaurant next door as we had previously booked a meal in Market Harborough but the aroma coming from the restaurant smelt delicious. The bed was softer than we are used to but we slept well it was a very humid night but at least we could open the windows. En-suite was fine a little tired in décor but clean and a powerful shower. A clean, comfortable friendly hotel at competitive prices.

The travel Plaza is well situated off the main rd and easy to find. the check in was smooth and efficient. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable.I had dinner at the adjoining Gurkha restaurant and had the most amazing curry I have eaten in a long while at a very reasonable price.Breakfast was plentiful. I would recommend this hotel and will stay again.

Very helpful Reception person. Room comfortable and quiet although the bed creaked every time you moved on it. I was a little concerned about parking my car in the main car park where it was hidden from view from the hotel but in full view of the road. I'm sure it would have been fine though. Very quiet, which was nice, and I had a great night's sleep.

We have stayed at the Travel Plaza a number of times when visiting our children in Desborough. We have always received a warm welcome and had an enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast very good and service excellent.

Once again we've thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Travel Plaza. Very relaxing location out in the countryside but a short drive to Market Harborough. Such helpful and friendly staff and a comfortable room with excellent shower! Very nice and quiet and just what's needed after a day's visit to relatives. And the restaurant attached has some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted. All in all a really wonderful place and long may it continue!

Stayed for one night. Very comfortable hotel. Felt welcome from the start. Clean room with WiFi. Food in the restaurant is superb. Snacks & drinks available at reception- really handy. Big bed, spacious room, and lovely complimentary shampoo/ gel etc in the bathroom....smelled amazing! Outside area looked so nice for sitting outside in summer with a glass of wine. Good reason to go back again :) Staff very helpful and friendly.

My second stay at this hotel. The location of the hotel is convenient for my business trips to Kettering. The rooms are comfortable and quiet and have free wifi in the rooms. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. For dinner there is an on-site Indian restaurant, or it is only a few miles toMarket Harborough where there is a good choice of restaurants

The hotel was well run, tidy and clean. It reminded me of a Premiere Inn type establishment. I did not use the Indian restaurant for my main meal at night but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good.

Just what we needed for staying over to attend a party in Market Harborough. Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and a good breakfast. And 24 hour reception with friendly staff.

Clean and tidy but need to prepare for the number of guests booked. Breakfast OK but a little greasy. More choice would be good.

The staff were lovely, welcoming and very friendly. The next door Gurkhas resteraunt served deliscious food. The bed was comfortable, but the double quilt didn't fit it, so it's good that I was alone.

Avery nice room. Clean and tidy and well maintained. The shower was very good and by having the sofa bed as a sofa, it gave us both a comfortable seat, rather than one have a chair and the other to sit on the bed.Breakfast was a bit of a let down. No decaff coffee and no cereal. With small improvements to breakfast, it would have been rated excellent.

Friendly staff. Ample parking. Nice clean room, which is the most thing to me. Only stayed the night. Didn't use any other facilities or amenities. If ever I find myself in Kettering again this is my hotel of choice.

Despite the rush, checking in was efficiently handled.On entering the room it was clean and warm. The facilities provided were in line with what I'd expect from the price range, though free wi-fi access was a pleasant surprise.For breakfast, the food was of adequate quality without being spectacular. Given the price, I'd rate it as on standard.Over my stay I interacted with 3 members of staff at the desk, all of whom were polite and pleasant to interact with.

Check in at reception was friendly, quick and easy and the room, although basic, was very clean, nicely presented, comfortable and excellent value for money ... The room had comfortable beds, tea/coffee facilities, television and free Wifi ........ If you are planning a visit to the area then I would have no problem recommending this hotel if you are doing a short stay

Very nice,well kept and clean hotel. The room i stayed in look new and fresh. The beds were ok to sleep in, but i found them to be to springy, you just sink right into them like the matress was broken. but thats me, i like a strong mattress. over all tho i would go back and stay at this hotel again if im ever up in that area again.

The hotel was - as always clean and tidy however despite booking a room for three adults; upon arrival it would seemthat our request had not been matched to our needs.This was however corrected within a few minutes

The room was comfortable and clean, very quiet as we were at the back of the hotel. There were spare pillows which we used. The pillows and mattress are probably just on the verge of needing replacing.We had breakfast at the restaurant next door and it was good, but we would have liked to have been able to eat a little later on a Sunday (last seating 8.30am)Certainly somewhere we would use again when we visit the area.
